Introduction: Demographic aging is associated with na increased need for oral rehabilitation. Removable dentures are a viable option for oral rehabilitation to restore function and improve patients quality of life. Oral health plays a significant role in maintaining quality of life. Objectives: To analyze the impact of removable dentures on the quality of life of rehabilitated patients. To evaluate whether the use os dentures improves physical, emotional, and social aspects. To identify the most common difficulties faced by pacients. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional observational study was conducted with a sample of 37 patients who received removable dentures at the University Dental Clinic of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Sociodemographic data and specific questionnaires such as OHIP-14, GOHAI, Leake Index and MDSQ were collected. Data were processed and analyzed using SPSS software. Results: The majority of the participants underwent partial rehabilitation, and bimaxillary rehabilitation was equally common. There was no significant association between the sociodemographic data. Patients were generally satisfied with their rehabilitations, except for minor complaints related to chewing, speech and oral pain or discomfort. Conclusion: The impact of oral problems on quality of life was minimal, with some complaints related to chewing. Patients reported greater difficulty chewing harder foods. Generally, patients were satisfied with their dental prostheses. The study had a small sample size, which may have affected the statistical analysis. Future research should consider a larger sample and evaluate patients pre-rehabilitaton quality of life to obtain more accurate results.
