Impacto da transparência na cadeia de abastecimento com a adoção da tecnologia Blockchain

Abstract

Nowadays, there is a higher demand from customers regarding the path of the product along the supply chain. Due to this, it is essential to provide more transparency regarding these products in order to achieve a higher level of legitimacy and authenticity in them. In this sense, the adoption of Blockchain technology in the supply chain may allow for this, which is essential for increasing consumer confidence and building a positive reputation for the organization, thus solving information asymmetry problems. To understand the impact of Blockchain technology on the supply chain and the impact of transparency in it, with the adoption of Blockchain technology, a literature review was carried out, followed by a systematic analysis. The systematic review addressed the implementation of Blockchain technology regarding the financial and non-financial flows of the supply chain. Thanks to it, the problems highlighted in the traditional supply chain, the advantages, and disadvantages of Blockchain technology and the impact of transparency on the supply chain were analyzed. With this, we can conclude that Blockchain technology positively impacts the supply chain, namely through increased transparency. Consequently, there is an increase in trust along the chain, as well as an increase in information symmetry, security, and authentication, causing a positive impact on the supply chain.
