This survey focuses on the assessment and quantification of the impact of terrorism on the tourism demand among the OECD countries, during the period from 2009 to 2016, estimated by ordinary least squares method (OLS). For this purpose, it was used panel data, which complied 181 combinations of origin country/destination country. The results prove the influence of terrorism on the arrivals of tourists in OECD countries in the same year of the attack. However, the touristic demand is not affected by the occurrence of terrorist attacks in other countries, in the same year. Moreover, it is rejected the hypothesis that terrorism attacks in the previous year have impact on touristic demand.
