The present study focuses on the specific case of Grupo Lusiaves, the organization where the internship took place, aiming to understand the importance of leadership in employees in a scenario of change, derived from the Covid-19 pandemic.Leadership influences interpersonal relationships and, therefore, the leader excels at balancing these relationships, in order to achieve effective organizational performance. In this perspective, the concept of communication is a determining factor, as it promotes closeness between the leader and the followers.Circumstantial changes led to the emergence of leadership as a prominent theme in contemporary organizations, as well as at academic level. At the same time, internal communication is reorganized in the general configuration of an organization, especially in a context of change.In this context, the theoretical exposition emphasizes three fundamental notions:leadership, internal communication, and organizational change.The methodology used follows the mixed method, by carrying out and exploratory interview with one of the organization leaders and a document analysis and through a questionnaire survey.
