In this master thesis, it was elaborated a set of analysis and recommendations for Indie Campers, a Portuguese start-up of rental recreational vehicles, to be successful in the Italian market with the introduction of an Online Rental Marketplace which allows motor home owners to list their vehicle on Indie Campers' platform. Indie Campers is already operating in Italy, which allowed a more detailed study of the Italian caravan market, with a special focus on the owners of this type of vehicles. Furthermore, it was also necessary to elaborate a study on the legal framework, in order to correctly inform all those interested in joining their service. Finally, a statistical analysis of the model was carried out to determine whether or not it would be a good bet for Indie Campers to move forward with this business idea.
