Sleep is a determining factor in children's health. As a biological necessity, it plays a vital role in growth and development. It is the family's responsibility to promote the best possible quality of sleep for children (Almeida, 2021). Excessive screen time and access to age-inappropriate content currently raise growing concerns about potential negative effects on children's health, particularly regarding their sleep. The project "Influence of Technologies on Child Sleep: Community Nursing Intervention for Parents and Guardians" was developed in a Community Care Unit, integrated into the School Health Program. It is theoretically supported in Nursing by Nola Pender's Health Promotion Model and follows Imperatori and Giraldes (1982) health planning methodology. The project aims to empower parents and legal guardians to adopt healthy sleep habits and to use technologies properly once low knowledge about both topics has been identified. Among the various selected strategies, the main one was educational, through Health Education Sessions. The interventions aim to increase the knowledge of parents and guardians, to promote healthy sleep for children and enable them to use technologies safely and responsibly. The results obtained suggest that the project should continue, expanding the empowered population and achieving health gains.
