As a disruptive technology, artificial intelligence (AI) poses significant challenges to law in general, and to Intellectual Property (IP) in particular, insofar as it allows the development of intangible assets that could potentially qualify for protection under Copyright law or Patent law. We will thus analyse the main challenges brought by AI to the paradigms of IP law, in an attempt to understand to what extent are these creations (un)protected.
