Intervenção em crise em ambientes recreativos

: avaliação do processo e contributo para um modelo de intervenção suportado em evidência científica

Abstract

The following study aims to a contribution of the evaluation of the program Kosmicare, this is an intervention program related crisis induced by SPA, that takes place in a recreational environment related to a festival of electronic music that takes place in Portugal every two years during the summer. This study is incorporated in a group of studies that aim program evaluation, that already have data from earlier editions presented different goals that connect between. The aim of this study is to analyze the data obtained from the edition of 2012, focusing the program evaluation in two ways: the process evaluation and the results evaluation, being these the most used methodologies regarding these type of studies (Carvalho & Frango, 2010). To go forward with that analyzes we choose to use a mixed method, therefore including quantitative analyzes and qualitative analyzes (Hanso, Creswell, Clark, Petska & Creswell, 2005). This way we can understand in what ways does the program works regarding its implementation, and what practices of intervention and strategies are used in crisis situations related with the use of SPA. This way we intend to know which are the symptoms that are related with the use of SPA, and what strategies reveled more effective to attend those symptoms. Through the satisfaction analyze from the participants we can access the results evaluation in order to understand if the program heads to the participants needs. These kind of studies open a way to a better exploration of these theme, existing several dimension of it that deserve a better exploration, with the purpose of improving the strategies around these kind of situation so that these can have a proper resolution.
