Through this study we propose to present the work conducted within the Early Childhood Intervention (ECI), the intervention model implemented currently, understand how far the work developed fits into a systemic and bioecological model of service provision, which determines the work performed and how the coordination between different elements, belonging to the IP team, is held. It was intended to verify the knowledge that different interveners in the educational community show on the work done in this area, in the Group / School Grão Vasco. To achieve these objectives, the research was conducted in two distinct phases. The first, based on a theoretical investigation, through analysis of legislation, of articles related to IP concepts, intervention models and partnerships in the IP. The second phase consisted on a research-action on the ground, on which questionnaires were used as a technique to gather information. Was heard, then, the opinion of different teachers / technicians who are part of early intervention teams which have commented on the topics listed. The empirical information, from this descriptive and exploratory study, revealed that, overall, there is a working partnership between all professionals involved in the intervention in pupils with Special Educational Needs, which demonstrates that this is a way to meet the needs of these students and their families, providing them a better service.
