Within the scope of the Master's Degree in Nursing, in the area of Specialization in Medical Surgical-Surgical Nursing: in the area of nursing of Critically Ill Person, the present report was made with the objective of describing the skills developed/acquired through various activities during the emergency unit internship and in an intensive care unit internship with the objective of obtaining the title of Specialist Nurse in Medical-Surgical Nursing. For this reason, the final work is based on a critical-reflexive methodology and on the clinical practice of the internship places I chose. I define my intervention within the acquisition of skills as a Specialist Nurse, responding to the Person and their Family, with nursing interventions classified according to their result, as actions that promote the recovery or facilitate the health of the Person/Family dyad. The transversal theme of the report, which competed for the master's skills, concerns the “Interventions of the multidisciplinary team of the Difficult Airway in the person in a critical situation”, which in fact motivated many of the activities carried out in the internships. This work includes not only the elaboration of a research work, on the aforementioned topic, but also the report of the internships that I performed in the different contexts of nursing care, establishing a direct approach to the intervention of the Specialist Nurse. This is seen as a model of action and an agent of change to be followed in the advanced approach to the Person/Family and, finally, to be taken into account as a reference in the provision of excellent care.
