Abstract

The nurse specialist has a basic role and facilitator in the support and "empowerment" of these parents. Taking into account a reflexive practice and evidence-based practice, the Master used Afaf Meleis as a theoretical reference from the Theory of Transitions (Meleis, Sawyer, Im, Messias & Schumacher, 2000). As well as a bibliographical research through the accomplishment of a scoping review, which aimed to map the available scientific evidence about the nursing interventions that promote positive parenting, directed at the parents of children from 0 to 3 years of age. In this guideline, the Master student outlined as a specific objective: To deepen and develop technical, scientific and human skills of Nursing Specialist in Child and Pediatric Health Nursing through the development of nursing interventions to promote positive parenting. In order to respond to this objective, the main activities developed were bibliographic research and informative sessions (to nurses and parents), based on the situational diagnosis in each context and in a reflective practice.
