This work intends to study the top and intermediate leader’s hips and their impact n the pedagogic practices of the Music specialized teaching. We expect to achieve a better comprehension of these school organizations with their own specificities, establishing a co-relation between header ships and teaching. To perception ate the understanding of the Pedagogic Direction, the Department Coordinators], as well as the Teachers, relatively to the reasons that lead to the acceptance and identification with the organization, in a view of a leaner and reflexive school, where everybody learns this arose the following question: which styles of leaderships on the top and in the intermediate levels prevail in the specialized music teaching schools and which are the effects in the pedagogic practices? It was made a bibliographic revision to outline a conceptual view abort the specialized music teaching, school context leaderships, pedagogic and strategies teaching models and teaching practices. The methodology is based on the qualitative paradigm of the case study, focused on top and in intermediate leaderships and teachers pedagogic practices. This study was developed in a specialized music teaching school and the instruments of work were: a semi-structured interview to the Pedagogic Director and inquiries as questionnaires to the Department Coordinators and the Teachers. The results show a co-relation between the pedagogic action of teachers and leaderships. Considering that teachers are the most important intervenient and changing agents, leaderships must catalyse actions that promote collaborative and reflexive practices open to changing and innovation.
