Abstract

This Final Report was conceived within the scope of the Master in Music Teaching in order to obtain the professionalization in the recruitment groups M23 (Viola), M30 (History of Music) e M32 (Ensemble Music). This report is subdivided in two parts and expresses my performance and the knowledge acquired by my Professional Practice (PP) and it shows the methodology used in the Project of Pedagogic Intervention (PIP) which was applied during the PP and in individual sessions after it ended. The first part presents the description of the classes I taught and attended, containing complete and synthetic planifications and makes reference to the classes and students that I had the opportunity to have a direct interaction. The second part, that was presented takes form as a Scientific Paper entitled: “Methodologies for introducing the study and learning of the Viola using expanded techniques - Collections of traditional Portuguese music contributions in new aesthetic visions” in which I highlighted the State of the Art that was relevant and its various methodological steps to collect and analyse data. The results were obtained using the method Investigation - Action indicate the relevance of this problematic presenting ways to make the learning of expanded techniques as something motivating in a multidisciplinary level.
