Environmental problems are particularly important these days. The mobility sector contributes on a large scale to the degradation of the planet. Mobility as a Service has emerged as an alternative to current mobility standards. It aggregates and makes available private and public transportation services from various providers on a single platform. In practical terms, MaaS translates into a reduction in the number of vehicles, since there is greater sharing of mobility resources. However, for it to become widespread, it is necessary to analyze the adherence of potential users. For this reason, the objectives of this study are to understand the characteristics and attitudes of potential users of Mobility as a Service in the Portuguese context; to identify the main barriers to its adoption and to discuss incentive policies on the part of macro entities. In order to respond to the previous objectives, a quantitative methodology was used, obtaining primary data through an online questionnaire. In a total sample of 107 respondents, it was concluded that individuals with a positive attitude towards the sharing economy and those concerned about the environment were more willing to sign up to this service. In addition, the subscription price and commodity were the main barriers identified by respondents in choosing MaaS.
