Abstract
This master's thesis aims to analyze the issue related to copyrights of fashion items developed using AI and analyze the extent to which current copyright laws offer protection to fashion generated or created by AI. We intend to contribute to the debate regarding the need for new regulation of Intellectual Property through a comparative analysis of the regulatory frameworks of the European Union, Portugal, the US, and the United Kingdom. This analysis is complemented with a review of relevant doctrine and jurisprudence in the Copyright scenario, to reach a possible solution to the issue of Authorship in cases of works generated by AI.| Date of Award | 18 Jul 2025 |
