Abstract

This training report aimed to the critical analysis of a cash budget, prepared by a SME company for the financial year 2013, as well as the development and implementation of a financing plan that would allow the balance of the treasury, at a minimum cost. Thus, the ultimate goal is the development of an optimal treasury model where the applicant developed its trainee, Adira - Metal Forming Solutions, SA (hereinafter referred to only as Adira). This report has a critical nature related to the assumptions made for drawing up the budget and presents suggestions for improvement, capable of being implemented in the annual budget 2015. The analysis is divided by implementing various methods used by Adira, for the receipts expected in due time, using various types of short-term financing in order to meet its short-term obligations. The average collection period and the average payment terms are detailed throughout the report so that it is perceived how important the estimation of net cash flow and determining the short-term financing needs. In addition, it is built and proposed a financing plan, showing that its daily consultation optimizes treasury, to the extent that facilitates short-term financial decisions and allows the balance of treasury at the lowest cost.
