Under the 3 rd Masters in Nursing with specialization in Medical-Surgical Nursing (EMC), thisreport aims to critically reflect and give meaning to content idealized goal in the draft stage thatoccurred between 19/04/2010 and 29/01/2011, describing modules are made in the PolyvalentIntensive Care Unit, Hospital of St. John in the emergency department of Hospital de SãoSebastião and the North Regional Branch of the National Institute of Medical Emergency, theirrationale, choice and a brief description of the local stage, using descriptive and analyticalmethodology through the analysis and description of the different activities performed.The development is organized by general and personal objectives defined in the study planoutlined previously. In the field of legal and ethical responsibility, it was demonstratedcommunication skills with expertise in relationship with the person / family in a critical situationby communicating relevant information consistently, correctly and comprehensively,demonstrating knowledge and skills that facilitate "dignified death" and grieving processes. Withregard to improving quality, promoting and participating in service projects in the area of EMC,was one of the objectives to be achieved by that document was prepared "standard of ViaVerde Trauma" for further consideration and ratification, the purpose of the implementation. Inthe field of managed care to develop a case study / care plan it is stressed importance of thecarer (wife) in the provision thereof. The Dominion of learning development professionalsidentifies training needs of nursing practice, so a plan was drafted session "Techniques of renalfunction replacement / Plasmapheresis, in UCIP the workplace in a formal or informalappropriately coordinated with action. In the pre-hospital context, supported by a personalpraxis was made a training program under the "Emergencies in Renal Failure Associated withLow Pre Hospital."The work done over the stage, transcripts throughout this report identified limitations or doubtsseeking appropriate resolutions, providing moments of critical reflection on the practice ofnursing observed / provided. During the three training modules, it is clear that pain is a commonphenomenon, the reflection / action realizes the necessity of autonomous nursing interventionsin the non-pharmacological, their records, difficulties, identification, evaluation, documentationand control of the same, concerning the rights of citizens and thus the underlying duties of theprofessionals who work there and their conduct, understands the philosophy of care,emphasizing the duty of professional secrecy, the monitoring of patients in the emergencydepartment and approach to the terminally ill realize that there is an urgent changes ininstitutions and health professionals themselves, where the die exceed the limits of individualinterest and collective cover.
