: a realidade do Hospital de São Lucas, da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul

Abstract

This report aims to present all the activities carried out during the Academic Mobility period and the Curricular Internship developed at São Lucas Hospital of the Pontifícia Universidade Católica Rio Grande Sul, Brazil, in order to obtain the Master degree in Biotechnology and Innovation, by the Superior School of Biotecnology, of the Portuguese Catholic University.
During the exchange period, academic and cultural activities were developed which allowed me to optimize my knowledge in nutrition as well as on a personal level. The daily contact with the patients, the organization and writing of the medical records as well as the counseling of the internship supervisor were very important points for my training during the last months. I had the privilege of dealing with very diverse cases that helped me expand my capabilities. As well as the privilege of working with a medical team always ready to listen to my opinion and consider it.
For all these reasons, I am confident in saying that I did everything I set out in an exemplary way, always making the most of the specialists who surrounded me and guided me, both in terms of academic education and my personal education.
