In times of crisis, like these in which we are living today, we must explore every legal mechanism that allow us to recover the illicit wealth created by criminal acts. In this review, we are going to analyse the inversion of the rules of evidence in criminal proceedings and based on article 7. º Law n. º 5/2002, its implications for the defendant, the constitutional dignity of it, and instructions of the international and European Law.
