Abstract

This work corresponds to the Master´s thesis in Administrative Law, presented at the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University. It is about the tort of State and other public entities, specifically about the jurisprudential application of the concept of special and abnormal damages or burdens and their doctrinal realization. In this context, an analysis was made of the previous regime - the Decree- Law no. 48051, of December 21, 1967 - and the regime in force resulting from Law no. 67/2007, of December 31, complementing with solutions provided by both the doctrine and our Jurisprudence in the interpretation of this concept over the years.
