The Covid-19 pandemic has brought challenges to the way people manage thework and family domains, thus, the aim of the present study is to analyze the relationship between the two types of direction of the conflict between work and family (i.e., WFCand FWC), satisfaction with the work and family domains (i.e., ST and SF), as well as the moderating role of work modes (i.e., face-to-face versus telework) in these same relationships. The sample is made up of portuguese participants, with various professions, some of whom were working remotely and others working face-to-face. This study had 212 responses in total, and the research hypotheses were partially supported. In general, the sample presents reduced levels of WFC and both ST and an SF, presented to appropriate levels. The main result shows that the conflict with family origin (FWC) is what affects both satisfactions, and this situation is more felt by teleworkers than face-to face workers. Thus, it is possible to say that telework interferes with CFT, because when it is higher, the levels of ST and SF are lower, and vice-versa.
