Work-family conflict (WFC) is a structuring issue in today's society and this study aims to analyze the relation between WTC and parental stress (PS), to study the level of WFC according to the couple's employment status, to analyze whether the perception of organizational support (POS) and the use of work-family conciliation policies impact on WFC and to understand whether the POS and the use of work-family conciliation policies moderate the relationship between the WFC and the PS, in large families. The sample consists of 94 participants, working parents with three or more cohabiting children, and data collection was carried out through an online questionnaire. The results obtained show that there is a positive relation between WFC and PS, and WFC is related to the employment status of the couple, that is, the longer the couple spends at the workplace, the higher the WTC. Furthermore, it appears that a higher POS is associated with a lower level of WTC. This study analyzes a sample that is still not often considered and suggests that organizations should invest in work-family conciliation, creating policies and practices adjusted to the needs of families for a better management of work and family life.
