Abstract

The Contractual Freedom entitles the parties to enter into either typical or atypical contracts, provided their legitimate interests are duly safeguarded. In this context, the Kixikila emerges, a mixed contract arrangement whose atypical nature has sparked considerable legal and academic debate. It constitutes an informal and multilateral agreement under which participants commit to making periodic contributions in cash or specified fungible assets. Subsequently, the accumulated pool is then rotationally allocated among the group members, under the oversight of an appointed representative, thereby ensuring equitable distribution throughout the contractual cycle. It will be important for the study of this scientific work to address the Kixikila Contract and the possibility of implementing it in the Angolan banking system. System. The objective is to conceptualise Kixikila as a contractual instrument and to assess its potential as a tool for inclusion within the national financial system. From a methodological standpoint, this study uses the deductive method, being classified as basic research with a qualitative orientation. It is grounded in a doctrinal and bibliographic analysis, seeking to establish a legal-scientific framework for understanding an informal mechanism of saving mobilisation and credit provision.
