O contributo do venerável Dom João de Oliveira Matos na renovação da Diocese da Guarda

Abstract

: The goal of this paper is to recognize the work done by Dom João de Oliveira
Matos, in the diocese of Guarda. Dom Joao was a man who, from a very early age, recognized that the laity have a central role in evangelization. With this paper we intend to recognize that its role was and continues to be important, through the works of charity, developed by the League of Servants of Jesus, founded by him.
