O corpo como mediação sacramental

: uma reflexão teológica em Louis-Marie Chauvet

Abstract

With this dissertation, we present a theological synthesis of the sacramental reflection of Louis-Marie Chauvet over the body. The body in the author's sacramental theology possesses a predominant theological place. Because of this, we propose a path that helps us value the body in the sacramental-theological context. Thinking of the body as a sacramental mediation allows us to prove that the most spiritual and transcendental reality in the sacraments takes place in the material and corporeal existence. The dynamism of grace that operates in each sacramental action never runs from the danger or fragility of the body, regardless of whether it is a cosmic, anthropological, or ecclesiastical body.
