Abstract

The present work, carried out within the scope of the Master in ReligiousSciences, aims to report the experiences lived during the Supervised Teaching Practice (PES), also presenting a reflective analysis of the impact that PES had on my development my learning as a teacher of Catholic Moral and Religious Education (EMRC).All the work carried out during the PES is guided assessing how the EMRCdiscipline can contribute to moral development in adolescence. In this follow-up, I observed that the EMRC discipline emerges as a privileged place for the moraldevelopment of adolescents, insofar as it enables the adoption of strategies that enable students to dialogue, reflect and become aware of what is, effectively and morally, correct. In addition to the EMRC discipline, other factors may contribute to adolescents development in terms of moral issues. In this way, the present work will present and reflect on studies carried out in psychology and sociology and exposed in some teaching documents, which also show us how moral development in adolescence is processed.This work intends, at the last moment, to highlight a didactic proposal that,involving students, teachers and the educational community, can carry out areformulation of the taught unit (UL) explored, expressing, through it and in a more concrete way, the development morality in adolescence.
