This report is the result of the supervised teaching practice regarding the “Ecology and Values” school unit. We have tried to reflect on the issue of Ecology, searching for its roots and chief developments, the educational framing and the Roman Catholic Church teachings, as well as for the worrying data which make this issue a moral imperative. In the light of the Laudato Si’, we have reflected on the dialogue and conversion understood as a path to an integral ecology, based on a “culture of care” towards the whole Creation, which values nature and all the living beings, and overvalues the human being as the axis and apex of all God’s creative activity. It is also included a critical analysis of the teaching practice as well as the didactical/curricular documents that were derived.
