Abstract
In recent years we have seen a growing need to regulate the electronic registration of health data and the sharing of this data between the various Member States, in order to make access to this data faster and more effective for data subjects and health professionals. The European Parliament and the Council have presented a Proposal for a Regulation aimed at creating a European Health Data Space. With this in mind, we propose to analyze the Proposal for a Regulation, identifying and criticizing the main problems that need to be resolved, comparing the proposal with the current legal framework of the GDPR.| Date of Award | 19 Jul 2024 |
