Abstract
This article aims to make a theological synthesis based on St. Anthony's Marian sermons. It analyzes his formation and the importance it held in the writing of his sermons. The present study will focus on two Marian sermons: the Sermon on the Nativity of Our Lady and the Sermon on the Annunciation to Our Lady. The Antonian text is written in a poetic theology with the aim of being more understandable to the monks who were receiving these same lessons. The paper concludes with an analysis of the Mariological dimensions of the Immaculate Conception, which years later was confirmed as dogma.| Date of Award | 26 Jun 2024 |
