This exploratory study aims to evaluate the psychological impact of the victimization of an episode of sexual violence specifically in nightlife environment, and all the needs related to the recovery of the victims, through the perception of the psychologists who accompany the victims of sexual violence. For this, a sample of five psychology professionals was collected through a non-probabilistic and intentional sampling process. Data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews, based on a basic guide previously prepared and, subsequently, analyzed and encoded in the NVivo computer software. The main findings of the study indicate that psychologists working in the area of victimization need a basic skill profile, so that the therapeutic process is not impossible. It has also been confirmed that incidents of sexual violence occurring in nightlife environment may have a more aggravated psychological impact than in other contexts, due to feelings of greater guilt and shame, and because there is a lower percentage of victims seeking support. The conclusion of the study is that, without a doubt, psychological counseling is essential, as long as the psychologist provides all the necessary skills.
