O nível de formação dos cuidadores formais de idosos nas instituições do concelho de Celorico de Basto

Abstract

Main subject of the study. This study aimed to analyze the levels of training for formal caregivers of Celorico de Basto institutions. The study is quantitative in nature and in its realization appealed to a specifically aids or intentional non-probabilistic sample of one hundred and three formal caregivers' direct action, working in Residential Structures and Services for Seniors Home Support eight private institutions of Solidarity the social Celorico de Basto. The survey questionnaire and Documentary Research was used as an instrument. The full path of this academic investment sought to explore and describe the reality of professional caregivers this inland county district braga, and interpretation of the main results stands one undeniable reality that vocational training is critical and crucial for the development of all functional skills and other capacities of labor clipping and need to up their levels of training for caregivers of the elderly in the area. The results still summon attention to the importance of training levels of formal caregivers institutions Celorico de Basto studied, revealing whether they are adequate and sufficient performance in the daily lives of the elderly. Finally, the study's limitations and implications of results in increasing the quality of services provided to seniors and future research were mentioned.
