This study aims to report the internship at Cupertino Miranda Foundation, within the framework of the Master in Creative Industries Management at the School of Arts of the Portuguese Catholic University. This report exposes all the working experiences that are integrated into the institution's library department. Its purpose is to characterize the entire journey, with a focus on the new project, the Portuguese Centre of Surrealism. A reflection on the aggregating institution was also developed, and a communication proposal oriented to the online platforms was presented. It should be noted that a brief study of the Portuguese and international surrealist movement was included within this internship report, while also presenting the centres and documentary and artistic collections of the institution, and its departments. The ambition of this study is to provide Cupertino Miranda Foundation with information that allows a clear understanding on the potentials of online platforms, particularly of social networks. It is highlighted the importance of these components for the communication and dissemination of the new Portuguese Centre for Surrealism, and the development of a team focused only on these contents.
