The present research studied the influence of psychological security on the relationship between psychological capital and organizational citizenship behaviors. For that, a questionnaire, individual and anonymous, was applied to 117 participants from different organizations. The results of this empirical study have demonstrated that, in relation to the formulated hypotheses, the psychological capital is positively related to the behaviors of organizational citizenship. However, psychological security does not moderate the relationship between psychological capital and organizational citizenship behaviors. This research reinforced previous research that argued that psychological capital is related to organizational citizenship behaviors. Concerning the practical implications, organizations must incorporate the four capacities of psychological capital into training programs and enterprise development. They should also promote mutual respect between managers and employees and an adequate working schedule to achieve employee satisfaction.
