The study conducted shows the importance of exports as a determinant factor in Germany’s Competitiveness and to generate socioeconomic development in the country, creating jobs and wealth. The exports represent approximately 50% of the German GDP and demonstrate the relevance of foreign policy and orientation of the economy to external markets. The analysis of Germany's performance demonstrates that the policy of R&D and Innovation is adding value in their products, which generates a large external demand for products with quality, design and technology, and makes Germany the third largest exporter worldwide. The system of R&D and Innovation in Germany is considered one of the best in the world by having a structure of excellence. The articulation between the public and private sector allow the transfer of all the knowledge generated to the creation or improvement of existing products and services according to the needs and interests of German society.
