Abstract
The present study aims at identifying the perceptions of both students and parents /tutors, about the importance of the class director as an intermediate manager in the school organization. He is intended to define priorities, outline strategies and mobilize the team he coordinates in order to pursue the interests of the educational community, in close collaboration with the board. The thrive and willingness to conduct an investigation on this topic comes from personal and professional reasons.
Due to the responsibility and the great number of roles the class director has to play, it seems really relevant to hear the opinion of some of the process interlocutors: the teachers-class directors, the students and the tutors. It has been years now that one has been contacting young people, and getting to know their opinions about the subjects that influence and may determine their future life, namely school, has always been motivating. As for parental involvement in their children’s school life, it has always seemed positive and a success promoter.
Thus, as a secondary school teacher, the present study comes as an investment in our teaching practice, as well as in the performance of the class teacher role
