This essay aims to understand and to think critically about the relationship between the discipline of crisis management and organizational stories. Thus, an investigation of the interpretative kind was held, based on the investigator's experience in communication management, obtained by observing the Guinea-Bissau crisis verified in the company TAP Portugal, in December 2013. Starting up from the basic premise - the theoretical link between the crisis management concepts and organizational stories - all press releases internally disclosed regarding the designated crises were critically analysed. This analysis was performed in order to understand what kinds of stories are disclosed in a critical situation such as this. To do so, it was used a typological model adapted exclusively to stories published internally, in which our work is focused.
