This research analyses the determinant predictors of success regarding the bachelor students at Católica Porto Business School, that started their degrees between 2010 and 2013. It uses individual data from the sample students obtained through the academic records as their social and demographic background, as well as their performance when entering and while taking part of the Economics and Business Management degrees. The main conclusions are that the type of school these students went to when in High School and their gender are relevant influencers of their success by the end of their bachelor’s degree. We also found evidence that the school they come from also has a role on their performance.
