Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its innovations are revolutionizing the world as we know it today, but its heyday still lies on a distant horizon. The concept itself has caused euphoria among its enthusiasts, and nothing less would be expected. AI has crossed the barriers of the impossible, making business faster, smarter, and safer. Nevertheless, and as all innovations are subordinated to it, AI is subject to many dogmas, fears and even some threats at the business level, namely if it might have an impact on jobs. The main objective of this master's thesis is to understand the perception that managers have about the potential of AI in organizations. It is a qualitative study, descriptive in nature, adopting the interview as the method of data collection. The data collection was carried out through an interview with managers from different activity sectors. The objective proposed above in this exploratory study allowed us to conclude that managers of organizations are relatively familiar with the concept of AI. Regarding the level of application in activity sectors, we can conclude that AI has a noticeable impact on processes and activities in the Financial, Retail, and Technology sectors. Regarding the Health and Energy sectors, although the impact is already relevant, the introduction of AI in these sectors is still at an embryonic stage. However, all managers are aware that this tool will be the future of the business world and only the organizations that make the best use of it will be able to remain competitive in the long term.
