The workplace is a breeding ground for several types of discrimination. To this day, most discrimination reports are gender based and we know that the vast majority of these happen through indirect discrimination as a result of the existence of seemingly neutral criteria that, in practical terms, disproportionally affects one group more than the other - in this case, women. With this in mind and wanting to contribute to its practical study, taking guidance from doctrine and case law, this dissertation aims to study the concept of indirect discrimination using several examples that will help shed light and raise important questions on the subject.
