: avaliação e propostas de evolução do ponto de vista organizativo e pedagógico: estudo de caso

Abstract

Adult Training Classes is a method/ modality of adult training. The ESRAD – “Distance Recurring Secondary Education” - is a specific modality of frequency of “recurrent” distance learning. Thus, it is intended to solve the problem of students prevented from completing higher education degrees, because they were far away from schools or they had other kinds of professional reasons and they were not able to achieve a degree. This “ Adult training classes- a distance learning- ” is an educational opportunity offered to adults and young adults, spread all over the country- Portugal- and abroad. This modality is based on daily synchronous video conferencing teaching supported on a content platform. In this new reality students and teachers will have different roles from those assumed in traditional face-to-face teaching. As this is a formal modality of adult education, it is based on the presentation of adult education in global terms, with the case for the Portuguese process, framing “recurrent” education in the various perspectives of adult education and training. Being a modality of distance adult training, the project is developed in the main lines of evolution of e-learning, while distance learning with electronic means, reflecting on the concept of B-learning that is expected to take place on Esrad. It is essentially intended to determine the impact of the project on the finalist student who finished the first 3-years cycle of the project and who attended one of the headquarters schools of the ESRAD project located in the interior of the country and that receives students from all geographical regions. For its implementation, an evaluation model was used which is based on the context, the evaluation of the "Inputs", the evaluation of the process identifying results and determining its effectiveness, finding ways that allow the improvement of all the system.
