Abstract

Increasing market competitiveness, cultural changes, the need to reach to new consumers and, amidst a diversity of reasons, the search for resources non-existent or economically more suitable in foreign markets, potentiate the internationalization of economic activities. Considering the contemporary spectrum of market conditions, this thesis delves on the difficulties faced by companies that have internationalization as a primary strategic goal as well as their analysis’ of the potential markets. The project in hand aims to provide a solution for WIND’s inability to optimize the “Selection of Markets Matrix” tool, which is used to help companies understand internationalization goals and the analysis of prospective export markets.
