Student thesis: Master's Thesis

Abstract

In a free act of His full love, God the Trinity decided to create man in His image and likeness so that he could live in communion with the three persons of the Trinity. A Creation that is disfigured by sin, something inherent to the human condition. Man is free in his response to God's call, and it is not always a response in accordance with God's Love. But with God's grace, man struggles against the often easier and more attractive responses that go against his vocation. However, an event has given man the chance to renew himself. When Jesus Christ, the new Adam, became incarnate, he freed us from sin and made us his brothers and sisters and adopted children of the Father. We became God's temple, and this allowed us to follow a path of divinization that began with the descent of God's Spirit at baptism and continues until physical death, a path in which man are increasingly conformed to Christ in communion with their brothers and sisters until they reach full communion with the Trinity.
