This research seeks, through a systematic review, to discuss the treatment of Alzheimer's Disease through the practice of physical exercise, in order to bring the most important understandings and demonstrate the need to encourage the elderly to this practice, with the intention of achieving longevity, quality of life, well-being and mental health, in order to slow down and prevent the progression of the disease. It is also an instrument for preventing the development of Alzheimer's Disease in those people who reach old age and seek to remain active. The onset of the disease causes the elderly to have their lives totally transformed, where their autonomy is lost and they depend on the care of family members or caregivers, which formany is a trigger for depression to appear. Thus, when indicating physical exercise, the objective is to make the activities of light and medium impacts cause a transformation in thebrain, in order to protect essential functions to maintain the independence of the elderly, and tomake the disease Alzheimer's disease is not able to develop or, in already developed cases, have such a rapid advance, which promotes in these elderly people a total dependence as a result of the loss of functions and skills that were previously common to their daily practice.
