Abstract

Taking into account the technological progress and the improvement of surgical techniques, preoperative preparation and monitoring of the wearer may be considered essential in the surgical process of transition to a health-disease hospital route smoothly with a short period of internment and a quick return of the wearer to their routines. This document defines the primary objective a systematic and critical reflection on the clinical activity while nurse medical nurse specialist-surgical, reporting the route of raising a set of knowledge and scientific, technical and human knowledge, over the recommended stages. In preparing the project looked to set a theme related to the wearer, to serve all support the probationary period and facilitator of the process of acquisition of skills, developing activities while a nurse specialist in the area of specialization in medical-surgical nursing. Bearing in mind the general objective set for each of the fields of training, set specific objectives that will allow me to respond to the implementation of the same, were directed to the area of specialization in medical surgical nursing specifies, going against the four domains of general skills that the nurse specialist must possess. The analysis of scientific evidence there is the recognition of the needs inherent in the prevention of infection of surgical site directing to the relevance of the standardisation of performance in the health team.
