Abstract
The purpose of the present dissertation is to appreciate the need for the creation of an autonomous legal type of crime, commonly referred to as Illicit Enrichment, denominated Occultation of Wealth or Assets. Thus, it is our intention to assess the necessity and constitutionality of an autonomous incrimination of this type, considering the protection of the legal good in question and taking into deliberation other ways of possible solution of the problem. With this in mind, we will analyse the international Conventions and solutions and the necessary legislation in order to understand which is the best and most adequate solution for this problem.| Date of Award | 20 Dec 2023 |
