Os campos de trabalho internacionais e a contribuição da mobilidade juvenil para o turismo cultural

Abstract

This work aspires to prove the importance of juvenile mobility in patrimony and culture preservation and useful input for tourism. It’s presented the International work Camps Program, as a program of mobility and others, at the reach of youth, which make part of the process of learning regarding no formal education and active citizenship. On the other hand, it’s also presented the Instituto Português da Juventude as an entity who created and increased international work camps, the program on which the study is about. The intention was to show that international work camps can give a contribution for the cultural and patrimonial tourism development in Portugal. The youngsters of different countries who visited Portugal to participate in this program take with them a view of the country, of its culture, of its history and its patrimony, whatever is natural, monumental or other. The study was made with young participants in the year 2009 in some camps in Viseu and in Guarda, in the sectors of culture and patrimony. Was intended to know what impressions were noted and what views the youngsters took of our country and how they saw it in cultural terms. This study was made through inquiries delivered to the youngsters in those camps. The questions of those inquiries allowed to check out the opinions of the youngs in this sectors. The results show that the youngs appreciate our country, our history, our country and our patrimony. With this survey it is verified that it is possible take more dividends of this program, and that the involved authorities must create bonds and must articulated towards profit the work of the youngsters in benefit of the tourism and development. To value more that was done and to invest in its preservation and maintenance must combining efforts. In a time of crisis like the one we crossed, it is crucial to profit work and expenses soon, this program allows to enjoy everything that the youngsters made regarding the community and our country This notion it is not yet clear for qualified authorities and therefore remains this work, which is a wakeup call son in the future will have a better thinking and a better use of the juvenile mobility
