Along the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st the ideal arises that the child must have certain inalienable rights and that all the institutions of a modern society must contribute to this ideal (COMPASS, 2016). This study in the field of children's rights aims at understanding the representations and knowledge about their rights, realizing what rights children construct as relevant, beyond those that already exist and understanding how the rights are perceived by them. In order to respond to the proposed objectives, the discourse of five children was analyzed. In the end, the rights related to individual and leisure interests, basic needs and rights related to education were considered relevant.
