The present article is based on the theme “Extending working lives” and the effects that may have on older workers. The main goal is to understand the behavioral effects that may happen to older workers due to the existence of Metastereotypes and Psychological Safety in the workplace. The study sample is represented by 194 participants with 50 or plus years of aged working in several sectors of activity. The main conclusion of this study are: Metastereotypes negatively and significantly influence Psychological Safety. This relation is moderated by older workers’ identification with their age group.
