The following report describes the experience obtained during the curricular internship carried out in the second year of the master's degree in Sound Design, in the "Estúdio Chiu" of the singer-songwriter Miguel Araújo. During a period of six months, the opportunity was obtained to apply and deepen, in a professional context, all the knowledge acquired during the first year of the master's degree, as well as in previous professional experiences. The stage was directed to the area of capture, mixing, music production and a little live sound. This report aims to answer some of the key questions related to the methodology adopted by a sound engineer in studio and live sound, as well as to address the post-production process of a theme by a well-known singer and how it can influence the different decisions, in post-production, in the success of a work. Based on the practice gained during the internship, the report also seeks to evaluate and understand the solutions found to these issues.
