The conflict experienced between divorced parents, can cause problems of children's adjustment and dysfunctions in family functioning (Lamela et. al., 2010). The study sought to characterize sociodemographically these divorced parents and sought to investigate the levels of acrimony in these parents. The sample consisted in 14 divorced parents, with ages between 20 and 58 years, with, at least, one child from that relationship. The instruments used in this investigation were: Sociodemographic Questionnaire, and the instrument Acrimony Scale (Emery, 1982). The results showed that, these divorced parents are at the average age at which divorce usually occurs, and half of these parents had potential conflict with their exspouse.
